June 26th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will finish off presentation 4, and then start preparing for your final five-minute presentation. You may choose any of the six topics from your discussion classes this semester.
Communication
Education
Environment
Social Issues
Values
Technology
You may also present with a partner if you wish, providing that your general topic is the same, and that your presentations are separate.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

June 19th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will present about technology in pairs. Remember the usual research and critical thinking, and to say something new and interesting. Also, the first person should introduce the topic (why is it interesting or important, for example), and remember eye contact.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

June 5th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will present about education. Please remember to research well, be critical, and new and interesting. Most importantly, talk to your audience - not your script!
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

May29th lesson

Dear students,
Everyone did a great job last week, so please keep it up. You are nearly all capable of getting very high gradees. If you want to aim for a "9" you will need to communicate more with your audience. Good luck with that.
Today you will prepare your next presentation about education in groups of three. If you show me your concept map, storyboard, or draft, I will give advice. Please remember to not cover too many topics in your short speech. One narrow topic with research and critical thinking is easier to follow than several in such a short time.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

May 22nd presentation

Dear students,
Today you will present about the environment. Please remember to research well, think critically, show clear and informative error-free slides, and to communicate with your audience using your eyes. You should include a graph and explain it to your audience, including your feeling or opinion of it (What is the key point that you want to convey?)
