December 3rd lesson

Dear students,
Today you will give presentations in groups of three about the media. As usual, each person should talk for at least three minutes. Please don`t copy other people`s words, and try not to read too much. You should include your survey and results as part of your presentation. All group members will score equally for this presentation.
If you missed last week`s lesson, you will have to seek out fellow absentees and work with them to finalize your talk. Also, if it is possible, please conduct a survey by contacting your classmates at a convenient moment.
In the following week, our final topic (of four class assignments) will be globalization.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

November 26th lesson

Dear students,
Your next presention will be on December 3rd about media.
There will be no downloads for today's lesson. You will form groups, choose a topic, and do a survey related to your topic in class. This information should reveal a tendency, preference, usage, for example, about your chosen topic. You should present this information in class the following week ideally in graphical form. The purpose of this exercise is for you to practice interpreting graphical information as part of your presentation.
You may choose who to work with, or you can ask me to make random groups for you.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

November 19th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will make your second presentation on language. Please make sure to speak for at least three minutes per person.
The following week (November 26th), you will talk about media, choose your topic, and begin to prepare your presentation outside of class. Then on the 3rd of December you should be ready to practice your presentation in class. The 12th of December will be the date of your third presentation.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin
