June 3rd lesson

Dear students,
Please download the print from the previous post (May 27th) and bring it to class to read in your groups.
Today you will prepare your technology company presentation. What technology does your company make or use? Why is it better than others? How has technology made your company succesful, and how will technology continue to give your company a lead over its rivals?
Since you are representing your company, your presentation should be very professional. In particular, your slides should be faultless. Let me check your slides today, so please prepare these beforehand.
The date of the delivery of your third presentation will be June 10th.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin

May 27th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will present about social issues. Each person should speak for about three minutes, and presentations with visuals are usually better than those without.
If you do not have Microsoft Powerpoint, there are some alternatives which you may consider using. (For example, if you have a google account, you can use your google drive).
Here is an article with a list of alternatives.

After we you have finished presenting about social issues, you will read about the 2020 Tokyo Olympic presentation, so please download the link below.

May 20th lesson

Dear students,
Today, you will get ready to deliver your presentations on social issues. If you wish, you may present today. Otherwise, you can give your speech on the 27th.
Please remember to include research (with source citations) and critical thinking (tell your audience your opinions). Also, the better speeches use some kind of visual aid such as presentation software.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin
